Sloquet Hot Springs

Do not book through Expedia! I've had nothing but bad experiences and misleading information with booking hotels through Expedia. The shuttle is misleading!!! It said they had shuttle from the airport and to the cruise lines. I called the hotel to book the shuttle. Turns out they don't have a shuttle from the airport. And, they cannot reserve the shuttle over the phone but when I check in. Well, when I checked in, the shuttle was full. Why advertise something that only a fraction of people can use?

I travel frequently and stay in hotels all over, and the Holiday Inn in Burnaby was genuinely one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The staff was exceptional—friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable about the area, and consistently proactive. They went out of their way to help with things like printing documents and even assisting me with shipping a bag internationally, which made a huge difference during my trip. I was traveling with my six-year-old daughter, and she absolutely loved the pool. It’s a fantastic setup for young children, especially those who aren’t confident swimmers yet, because much of the pool is shallow enough for them to stand comfortably. There was always plenty of seating around the pool, and the view from the pool deck is spectacular, overlooking the surrounding high-rises. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed and more. Every interaction with the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. This was a wonderful hotel experience from start to finish, and I would happily stay here again every time I’m in the Vancouver area. Highly recommended.
