"We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. "Highly recommend. Great little prefab cabin. All as advertised. 30 min. to Cork or Wsterford. Excellent for a weekend or a week. Studio size w bedroom, en suite, kitchen/dining/living combo. Private outdoor area. Cormac was a friendly host. Quick drive or short walk to beach. Ballymaloe Culinary School w. Farm and Gardens less than 10 mins drive. Nice pub in village - the Goalpost. "This place and the surrounding area are amazing in my opinion. I learned the hard way, but you deff need a car in this area. The towns all around are cute and have a nice old school charm. And Lismore castle and gardens are amazing. Just wish the lord and lady would allow tours of the castle."

"As always our stay was amazing. It's such a treat to get away and feel like you are in the middle on nowhere. The peace and tranquility is fantastic. It's so nice to wonder around the shop there and the food is second to none. We had a lovely light lunch when we arrived as we wanted to save our appetite for our evening meal which did not disappoint. The rooms are so cozy and the bed was so comfortable. We had a great night sleep and all set for a beautiful breakfast in the morning which again was amazing. All in all it was a fabulous overnight and we are looking forward to going back again soon."
