“Great stay- very accommodating of some unexpected issues! Breakfast was great, room was a great size and staff very friendly.”

“Staff very unfriendly. Helpful but unfriendly. More importantly: zero soundproofing between rooms. Could hear both the music and conversation word for word of the room next door until midnight when I finally got hotel staff.”

“We loved the location and clean facility. Room # 32 was emailed to us as an upgraded room with more charge. We got there, the room was very cold, heater worked poorly, no desk, no chair to sit on. No dun coming through. We had handicap sticker, climbing mall that stairs was very difficult. Definitely this room was not an upgrade!!!!!!!! When we first arrived the receptionist was not warm and welcoming. We asked to change room for next day. They changed it. Better toom.”

“Dirty shower curtain hair on beds on sheets Air from heat was musty smelling. The mattress gave me horrible back ache i was so disgusted that we were ready to go and sleep in the car. I felt terrible for the kids we drove for 5 hours to look in to the beautiful college campus Salve Regina it was ruined by this place it totally grossed me out. It was a nightmare. I wanted to cancel the room i had kids with me the clerk didn't let me.”

“While the room looked like it was recently painted I was disappointed to discover it was for a handicapped person without any prior notice. I imagine it impacted the price of the room and perhaps made it cheaper but I would have paid more if I was offered a regular room without the open shower stall. I shared the room with others so I would have liked a closed stall without the water spillage. I didn’t bother asking if other rooms were available due to it being a short trip but in the future we……

“This was our third stay at the Mill Street Inn and it won’t be our last. It’s located a couple of blocks up from Thames Street . . . so close to the “action,” but those couple of blocks bring you to a quiet peaceful spot. One of the things we really like about the Mill Street Inn is having breakfast brought to our room every morning . . . Allows you to have a nice relaxing breakfast in your room before getting ready to go out enjoy Newport.”
