“I don’t complain about the sound in the night(frog, birds). I am ok for that. House service people make me uncomfortable. ”

“Our hosts were knowledgeable about the area and friendly. The view from our balcony (lānai) was amazing with all the lush plants and flowers. The breakfasts were delicious and hardy! We even loved the coqui frogs singing us to sleep at night!”

“This property’s location is probably one of the best in the Captain Cooks area, the views from the pool deck are stunning. Sarah’s breakfasts are one of a kind, fresh, healthy and a different taste everyday. At the Luana-Inn you’ll feel like at home, no room service but everything you need is available, just ask. The 2 cabins near the pool need acoustical insulation from the floor above. The Captain cook area is like a jungle, luscious green and beautiful winding roads to get to the property.……

“We had a wonderful stay! Charlie and Barbara are awesome hosts and communication could not have been better. You can’t beat the sweeping views and sunsets!!”

“Krista is an awesome person, she’s very attentive and very helpful! The property is a perfect little farm home to experience and I’m grateful for everything she offered there. We came right after the storm and almost canceled but I’m glad we didn’t! ”

“De advertentie klopt met de realiteit. Mijn verwachting is overtroffen! Prachtig uitzicht, overcompleet huis. Enige nadeel ; muggen.”

“Second stay at the Purple House and once again it didn’t disappoint! It is always our little home away from home! Love the peace and quiet! The owners are amazing! Look forward to future visits!”

“This 2 bed, 2 bath apartment with a full kitchen and available washer and dryer was a great place to stay in the Captain Cook area. The house is located in an area which is walking distance to the water, which does involve a long and windy drive down the hill from highway 11, the Mamalahoa Hwy. The accommodations are comfortable and spacious. The host is charming and hospitable.”

“Gorgeous sunsets and a nearby park where the kids hung out before dinner each day.”

“Hosts are welcoming and kind. Delightful kids. Love that this is just a family business. Everything is very clean, up to date and beautiful art. Would stay here again. Highly recommend ”
