"Jots has never disappointed me until this time, the room wasn’t as clean, there was hair in the shower and there was mold in the grout, the floor wasn’t very clean either: I will come back in July and stay there, because this is the first time this happened, so I am hopping it’s the only time."

"We booked an oceanview room and the experience was not worth the expensive price. Pillows had some stains and hair strands. The vents looked dirty. There’s no AC but heat only. There is a fan provided. The wooded frames near the windows were peeling apart. The ocean view was not what was advertised given that the ocean was not direct view. There were no issues parking or checking in. There is a microwave and a fridge. Overall, it needs more maintenance and better housekeeping. Not terrible but not worth the price at all."

"We enjoyed our stay due to it being clean, accommodating our late evening arrival, the view from our room, a pet-friendly room and easy access to walking our dog outside. The breakfast was good for us, but not what we initially expected. You choose items the night before that are cold breakfast items like hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, bagels, etc and the staff has it all waiting in the lobby in a bag. It's easy to take to your room, but there is dining space to eat in as well. My only complaint was the shower head not fully functioning. It looked like we could choose from overhead or using a wand, but there wasn't any obvious way to switch it from the hand held. I’m not sure if there was a way. The tub was super nice though. Otherwise, everything was really great and we enjoyed our stay."

"Arrived and both rooms we booked were not clean. Bathroom had toilet paper in the toilet, shower was dirty, and no towels in one of the rooms. Before bed we noticed that our beds did not have blankets on them. Called the front desk and they said someone would arrive in 30 mins, waited 2 hrs and then just went and got the blankets from our car so we could sleep as no one areived. Next morning we called and requested blankets, our request was acknowledged but no blankets delivered and our room was not cleaned. Finally at night we went to the front desk and requested again at which point we wete given blankets. Went to our rooms and the TV did not work. Turns out no ones TV worked... Breakfast states it is a hot buffet. It is not, it is grab 2 items out of a cooler and microwave. Complete false advertisement. Our family who also stayed experienced a broken toilet, locked out of their room due to the key cards not working and no towels as it was stated they ran out. The staff tried to help the best they could but with all the problems we had, I can only imagine they were busy with other guest complaints/concerns as well. I have stayed in several red lions and never been so disappointed! The owner needs to invest in his property and get more staff so they can do their jobs properly."

"The view was amazing. The room was clean however it had an unpleasant smell. I would stay here again for the view alone, but I would bring air freshners. The bed was comfortable, the walls where thin, which was fine if you and your neighbors are respectful."
