We really enjoyed the location of the Kent House. It was easy access to the beach and a lot places to eat/relax. We also enjoyed the character of the house and how spacious it was. We will definitely book again if we visit S Padre in the future.

Dreamy Vintage Beach Home

This place is SO cute and SO spacious and so well-appointed and has so much character. It felt like taking a visit back in time to grandmas beach house (except the beds and linens are all updated). I loved that there were beach supplies, a bike to ride, a cooler to borrow. The space is well thought out and has everything you need for a sweet beach trip. Thanks!

The thing we liked most was location but there were a few issues with house, the lock to door was a pain hard to lock/unlock and getting key out was a pain,pull out bed was broken so you weren’t able to sleep on ,washing machine didn’t work so we had to we for repair man to come fix so we could wash towels then dryer never got them dry had to call for them to send some more towels but by the time they got there we had just shared towels that were available which was two and when I went to open shower door it fell off hinges they were supposed to fix that but did not while we were there for some of the inconveniences I asked for some of my money back didn’t get a response but other than that we had a great time

Our second stay

We love the closeness to the beach, the privacy of a single family home as opposed to a giant hotel and the fact that it’s close to every thing but yet very quiet and secluded. It really is the perfect combination. This is our second time renting the Kent House and we are already looking forward to our third trip.
