"When I read the reviews before me, I was weary, but having grown up in the Bay Area and gone to Sausalito many times I gave this place a try. This is a classic, bay boutique hotel, and I loved it! It’s an old house, so it has a lot of charm. If you come in expecting it to be like a true hotel; you’ve set expectations incorrectly. It was very clean, very spacious, very safe, and the staff was very kind. They have water and coffee for you, and it is a quick walk away from restaurants and shops that are true to the heart of Sausalito. Looking forward to staying here in the years to come. "

"We just got home… If you are looking at this place and it fits your thing, Do it Now!... Thea’s home is it… The home is nicely appointed and very comfortable. Kitchen has everything. The landscaping is well matured and is just a blast to be around. This home feels like it belongs in Mill Valley. The neighborhood is great. Felt very safe. Lots of kids, people waking, nice landscaping, quiet at night. It felt great and safe to be there… And then, If you’re not staying in SF, this area is great as you can easily get into SF, you’re near the Mountains, Beaches, all the cool peninsula cities, a great launching point. There is a Good Foods Market a few min away, coffee and pizza! Everything was so easy to get to. We just had a great time staying at Thea’s and would definitely do again. To note Thea was also great with communication. The whole thing was great and it’s nice when things are smooth and work. "

"Everything was great. Wonderful location, walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. I loved the bay windows in the room. Very quaint and lovely place. Very friendly lady at check in. We will be back. "

"Hotel is older the room was nicer. The hallways have had wear and tear but are clean. The room itself was all currently upgraded."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very accommodating, and made WONDERFUL breakfasts. Some people may prefer elsewhere, as the bathroom is shared, one cannot lock their room door when they are out and about, and parking is limited on the residential street. However, we felt safe and secure, nonetheless, and did not have any issues with the shard bathroom."

"The location is great. Not many amenities, but they weren’t missed. A clean room that’s in a fantastic location; I would definitely rent again. "

"Clean and comfortable rooms. Really enjoyed bath amenities - plenty of bath salts and even bubble bat. Service overall excellent. Note - there is only a ceiling fan to cool the room in the historic houses which was fine for October Autumn weather. Parking very convenient and steps from house."
