“Room was clean and spacious! The bar manager(don’t know her name) was absolutely fantastic was very informative and helpful!! A great place to stay if you’re using Bristol airport. The food here was really great especially the breakfast! Thank you for a great stay. Will definitely return and will be recommending!”

“Although only booked for one night, but I had a very good experience.The staff are very helpful, the location is convenience that is close to town and just next to Cathedral. I love the fact that the hotel is a historical building and preserved so well from the inside and outside. Highly recommend to stay there while you visit Stonehenge, Old Sarum & Saisbury Cathedral.”

“Great views from the bar and garden, and perhaps some rooms though not ours as we were facing out the back. Rooms are clean and functional but nothing to write home about, with bathrooms not dissimilar to the toilets in a school 20 years ago. Nevertheless, a good night's rest and great location if you're playing golf and the nearby Cleeve Hill golf course. ”

“The rooms and restaurant were uniquely decorated. Debbie and the rest of her family were lovely. I highly recommend a stay at the old station inn.”

“The 5-night stay was overall comfortable, although there was an issue with controlling the temperature of the hot water shower. It would occasionally become scalding during showers. It would also be wonderful if breakfast could include some fruit. Other than these minor points, it was a delightful stay. When we arrived in the late afternoon, the reception gentleman kindly helped my daughter and me carry our luggage to the room on the 2nd floor.”

“The Thames Head Inn is a great gem. It's about a 1 mile walk from the Kemble train station, I walked alongside the road since taxi service is scarce and had no problems. There aren't any other businesses nearby, so I ate dinner there as well (delicious) and paid for breakfast the next morning (also delicious). I hiked to the nearby source of the River Thames, which was neat to see. The room was clean, had a blackout curtain, and a private bathroom. The area was quiet overall and I didn't have……

“Kleiner gemütlicher Pub mit Zimmern perfekt für Übernachtungen auf der Durchreise oder kurze Aufenthalte. Zimmer sind zwar nicht dir größten aber sauber und bequem. Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit.”
