Bathrooms were a bit dated and the shower water pressure was pretty low, but they were plenty clean. Hosts are great communicators, and don't demand you do a bunch of silly stuff before leaving. For example towels were thin, basic and similar to what one would expect if staying in a cheap hotel. In addition the water pressure of the shower is in desperate need of some help as it was about the speed of a babbling brook.
