“Great experience. Traveling with my husband to visit the area and do hikes. Nice location and cozy cute cabins! Owner is super helpful and kind. Minor hiccup at check-in due to booking through Expedia - Expedia doesn't share any info with the owner of the property and the email for my self check-in wasn't sent. I called the owner and he called right back after a few minutes and was able to give me all the instructions I needed. He even gave me some hiking recommendations. Later, the water……

“Our stay at The Little Red Barn tiny cabin was outstanding. It was the perfect base for our adventures during the off-season when we couldn’t do our usual tent-camping. Centrally located in the city of Luverne, it’s a short distance away from all in-town amenities. The property it’s on is very eclectic with historical pieces scattered about, & the hosts are super welcoming & informative on the local area. We found the cabin clean & pleasant to be in; modern amenities with some repurposed……

“Booked this as a last minute mini spring break vacation and absolutely loved it. Will visit again. Cabin was adorable, clean and very well kept. Hammock chairs under cabin were the highlight of the trip. Found some games in the coffee table and it was nice to teach my son games that did not involve electronics. Bathhouse was very close by and exceptionally clean and well stocked. Shower was amazing. Puppy had a great time walking the trail with us. Easy drive to Whitewater State Park.”
