“We were so delighted to find this gem in the heart of Eureka Springs! The Thoreau Suite was super comfortable and the perfect place to land after a day of exploring all the wonderful offerings in Eureka. The balcony on the rock wall was very nice in the early mornings and late afternoons. The Cliffs Cottage Inn is in a great location--just a staircase down into the bank parking lot and next door to the downtown transit bus depot. “We’ve stayed at lots of bed/breakfast places before, however I would rate this place more like a cheap motel. Our hostess was very nice but she reaked of alcohol when she arrived to check us in. Our room had a tiny 18” dynex tv that was equivalent to an old computer monitor. The bed linens and towels smelled terrible like mildew. We actually had to go in town & buy towels to use. The bathroom had no hooks for towels or to anything. There was no blow dryer, even the cheapest motels have hair……
