The rooms are consistently clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the hotel is quiet for the most part, making it easy to relax. “We booked a room. The toilet handle was broken and did not flush. The curtain rod fell everytime you opened the curtains as there were no end caps to keep it in place. The air conditioner leaked and we found a dirty towel hanging behind the bathroom door when we first arrived.”

“The Shorewood “Inn” is an old worn out Motel. Tiny box of a room with coils in the bed that squeak. AC unit was so loud. Air was stale and smelled. Nothing seemed clean. Wondered when was the last time the AC filter was changed. Bathroom and tiny shower can only be described as “icky”. Do not make your reservation here.”

“The property was beautiful, the rooms were nice and clean. The problem was with the TV. It stopped working and even though I was told they have 24/7 service to fix it, after 13 hours waiting, nobody came to fix it. Also, tried calling the front desk from outside the hotel and no one answered. Tried multiple times from my room and no one answered. You can't claim to be a 4 star hotel and provide no service to your guests. ”

“An easy comfortable clean place to stay in Hampton Bay. It has a pool and lawn chairs and it’s right on the inlet of the water. There’s a restaurant with music a few doors away serving hamburgers and wine, etc. There is parking on the premises they have a continental breakfast consisting of bagels, yogurt, and a energy bar, which are all delicious.
