"We've stayed here multiple times. This hotel is in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood blocks from quality coffee shops and restaurants and just a few blocks up from Asilomar State Beach. No frills, but clean, quiet, laminate floors and dog friendly. There is also a gas fireplace in the room which we enjoy. We've stayed in most of the hotels in this little neighborhood and Deer Haven is one of our preferred."

I had to work so we aren't able to arrived till almost 10 pm. We received to calls from this person and we let him know that we apologize for any inconvenience of our late check in. but this person is obviously upset and did not give us any smile or welcoming mood when we arrived. it was my husband and I Wedding anniversary and we just escaped for a night....

"This very sweet motel is smack dab in the middle of Carmel Valley close to restaurants and wine tasting rooms. It is extremely convenient, safe, and comfortable. The staff go above and beyond to try to make your stay as wonderful as possible. They are very generous with Keurig pods, water, and little things that are nice to have in a motel like wine opener and cheese knife. Don't hesitate to stay in this truly lovely motel."
