“This is a bed and breakfast that DOES NOT include breakfast. You can pay the extra $21 pp otherwise you get free smells and that's it. Apparently this was a change made in January 2026. The house is quaint and has lots of potential. We stayed in the 3rd floor room which meant lots of ducking your head to avoid the slanted ceiling. Not so fun for the middle of the night bathroom trips. The carpet in our room was very outdated and in need of replacement. The tub/shower combo does not have a……

“Im not sure that anyone wants to hear this but it has to be said. Overall the Moxy was well cared for and clean. Yet when I lifted the pillow there was an extra member in our room. Yes, it was dead and yes I did bring i to their attention. My only request was to please have the room double checked and linens changed. Left for graduation only to come back to find that it hadnt been done but the staff was in the hallway so I gave them the benefit of the doubt that it would be taken care of……

“Nothing special as l and not worth the EXTRA $75 they charged me once I got there. No warning about that little gem of a gotcha charge. A basic room across from the gym and bathroom for $375 was ridiculous!! I’ll never stay here again and I’ll warn all who have ears to stay away from this crooked establishment!”

“The room smelled musty, the bed was hard, the shower was blazing hot or cold. Couldn’t regulate temp In shower. Had 2 knobs for tub, 2 for shower. You had to hand regulate them ”

“Did not like being charged for parking in the hotel parking area. Was the first time I have ever had to pay for parking in the property parking area.”

“Staff on-site was very courteous, kind, and helpful. Did have one snooty interaction by phone when I called about not being able to pre-check in with the app as an email suggested. The property was clean. Thankfully, the room was cool but since it is a "green" hotel, don't expect fast temperature changes if you like things cooler or warmer than normal. The breakfast was satisfactory though I thought it was overhyped on the website. I didn't use the pool or guest laundry, but the gym area was……
