Quick trip. Room was clean, comfortable and grounds were attractive. St. Mary's Restaurant nearby had good food, a lake with turtles and fish to feed and very pretty setting. Staff at hotel was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in need of updates and renovations. We have stayed at several HI and expect more from the quality of hotel. Carpets were worn the floors in the room were uneven The staff was super helpful and very nice and the rooms were clean.

Staff was friendly. Carpet in the hall had paint stains and drywall from a previous renovation. Would have preferred a couch vs a desk for sitting. Room had been repainted at some point with poor edging. Laminate floors were poor quality. Overall, it was quiet with a comfortable bed and we enjoyed our stay.

The staff was nice and friendly. The hotel room was not clean, very dusty including the floors. The hallway floor was dusty and the furniture was visibly dusty with stains on it. The entrance and lobby of hotel was dirty as well. am allergic to dust and unfortunately I did not sleep well even trying to tidy up a bit myself. The Housekeeper was very nice and friendly when I needed something. To her defense, that is a big hotel and if they only have 1 person clean that floor, that could explain things. you need 2 people to a floor of a large hotel. I used to work in a hotel myself, a 5 star hotel. If they just clean it up it would be a great place to stay, i loved the location.

Shabby like an old 1950's motel

Rundown in need of renovation. Smells damp and my clothes were damp. Carpet underneath hallway AC outside my room was wet. Bed was fine. Linens were fine except towels were scratchy. Housekeeping was good.

We weren’t in hotel for long periods except to sleep/clean up. Smelled clean & fresh when we arrived, but mustier by the day. Our tv remote had issues but after several tries, got it handled. Front desk and maintenance were wonderful. Refrigerator worked great! Hotel was in a good location for gol and downtown St Augustine.
