Stunning ocean view

We had a relaxing stay at this beautiful home right on the beach. Where we enjoyed the sound of the ocean, watching dolphins and collecting shells! We had a great time. Thank you

Vilano Beach

Beautiful location and beach. Great facility with lots of amenities. Parking on property was a challenge due to high volume of traffic on access road and design of driveway. Will definitely use again.

This property is so gross. The dishwasher was rusted inside, and the washing machine was covered in black residue (possibly mold). The microwave and refrigerator were also very dirty. There was a strong gas odor throughout the house, and all fire and carbon monoxide alarms had been removed. The photos on vrbo are deceptive and do not reflect the condition of the property. 4 people out of our party of 6 had to leave the same day due to the condition of the house.

Nice Vilano Beach Property

The ocean views within the home are amazing. You're steps way from the ocean and the host has basically everything you need to enjoy a day at the beach (chairs, boogie boards, games, etc.). The location is also great. You're not located directly beside condos or public access so it tends to be more private which we loved. You're also minutes away from downtown St. Augustine with all the amenities. We had challenges with the AC the first several days but the host made it right. Would recommend.

St Augustine getaway Bummer

The pictures were very miss leading. Much smaller than expected. Lots of rules on Aircon usage. The place was always HOT especially in the evenings when trying to sleep. Old furniture NEEDS a facelift for the money spent. Outdoor swing broke during the stay old and rusty. No screens on any doors. We will not be back.

Upon arrival, we realized that there was no hot water in the house. Contacted the local manager by text and email. Contacted RedAwning by email, no response. Eventually the local manager responded after 4 hours that he would send someone in the morning. We had to sleep the first night without shower. Next day, water was cut off. Contacted the local manager, his response was maybe from the county. If not back in couple hours to contact him. We had to leave the house because we couldn’t use the restroom or wash our hands, .. Later, while away, I received a text from the local manager that I needed to bring a blanket from the porch inside. And then an email from RedAwning about the pet. I believe it is illegal and unethical to access the property with all our personal belongings there without our knowledge and permission. The heating system is messed up completely. If you turn it to 68 on the first floor, it becomes extremely hot on the second floor where the bedrooms are so we have to keep it around 63 downstairs to be able to sleep. Floors and furniture are all very old, dirty and filthy This is definitely it worth the money spent. It is a disappointment and very negative experience
