"Parking was great, room was completely remodeled and clean. It is an older motor motel, but the rooms were lovely. Only complaint is they need new coffeemakers and the mattress, while fairly comfortable, was far from what I expect in a hotel/motel. Think a $300 Amazon mattress. That was what it was. The sheets and mattress cover slipped off constantly, as it didn’t fit the mattress well. This was the biggest disappointment of the trip, but the area is beautiful and we able to walk to many lovely attractions. It was also very addordable"

"Our stay at the Lion Inn was excellent! The staff were very friendly and helpful, it was a short drive to the historic district, and plenty of food and coffee within a short walking distance from the hotel. We would definitely stay here again!"
