“Beds were super comfy and whole experience was pleasant and fun”

“We were disappointed with the property and our room. We were scheduled to stay two nights and checked out after one night because of how old, dirty and run down our room was. We were told we would get a refund for the second night but can’t get them to issue our refund. Terrible experience.”

“Bed was very noisy. I was told since I was using Expedia or the like, I would be charged an extra $100 for incidental costs. However, it was three separate $100 holds. Still had to pay for parking +room. Although, said I would get a parking pass with room purchase. That was just to keep from getting towed though. Truthfully though, it was worth the stay in a pinch.”

“The property is not well maintained. It really needs a lick of paint and a good clean. The lady who looked after us was very helpful and kind, but the property is quite run down and needs a bit of work. Flaking paint and dirt on the internal doors to name a few areas. Also, be aware, the property is on the main road through Apalachicola and so there’s loud traffic noise throughout the night.”

“Hotel correct”

“I really wanted to be able to leave a 5 star review for this property, however... We were traveling in from Naples and decided to book this place as we made our way back home. It looked like to perfect stop for us. My husband booked the room as I drove, and he proceeded to look for other stops along the way for us to visit. After making several stops, we headed to this final destination for the night, not realizing that we would arrive as late as we did. The last hour of our trip, I let my……

“Rooms and building were nice. Great location. However, the hot water in room was not hot. Luke warm at best. We were there for 3 nights and only received 1 towel per person. No daily cleaning service that gives you more. There was only part of a toilet paper roll in room. No additional ones. Did not know that until we ran out. There was no blow dryer or iron in room. They need to do better.”

“So much effort put into the inside of this beautiful place. So nice to be in a place that gives you water, snacks, coffee! The host was available for any questions and responded promptly. The description by Expedia was incorrect because it is a one bedroom not a two bedroom. This was not the host fault. The convenience, cleanliness, and beauty more than made up for only having one bedroom.”

“Small, cozy and just what I needed.”

“Nice stay”

“Would definitely stay here again!”

“A great value for the location! Will definitely book again. Also note that this property is part of a three home “compound”. Perfect for a large group that wants to travel together but still have their own spaces.”

“Perfect place to come and knock around downtown apalachicola! Can basically walk anywhere you would want to and a short drive to the beach. I recommend!”

“We had a lovely stay at this house. Everything was super easy from check in to check out. No crazy cleaning rules or fees. Just run the dishwasher before you leave. Easy peasy. The beds and pillows were comfy and immaculate. The owners really went above and beyond when the power went off for a couple of hours. They were at the house with a battery powered fan and not like a little hand held one, a big full sized fan with a giant battery within 30 minutes with an update about when the power would……
