This property was fabulous! Debbie was very available and accommodating for all of our needs. Great neighborhood! We walked just a couple of blocks for dinner each evening, cocktails across the street, and gelato just below our "home". Couldn't ask for anything more!

Quaint Italian Neighborhood
Very nice apartment close to lots of restaurant options. Quiet neighborhood but pedestrian street noise is a possibility if they stop and converse on the sidewalk below the apartment. We loved the gelato and the adjacent park! We would definitely stay here again.

This location is clean, cozy, and right on the Piazza IMO. It is across the street from the church, and within easy walking distance of everything to do and see on The Hill.

Couples getaway
My husband and I took a 4 night couples getaway to St Luis and stayed on The Hill. What a prime location! Shops and restaurants are within walking distance and you can’t beat the gelato shop downstairs! We enjoyed the comfy apartment and everything was perfect! Lots of sightseeing and relaxing. We hope to come and stay again!

Beautiful Place in a Perfect Location

Amazing!
Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Came in during a snow storm and within 30 minutes the owners had the stairs and parking area cleared for our safety! Great decor that represents the neighborhood incredibly. We will be back!

Weekend getaway
We had a wonderful weekend. A five star experience. The property was so nice and clean. The decor and furnishings were so cozy and comfortable. Everything was amazing from the views in the courtyard to the quiet neighborhood which was a nice area within walking distance to many nice restaurants. The check in and communication with owners went very smoothly. We greatly appreciated the fact that we needed to change the dates of our stay and they were accommodating. Plan to book again

An absolute GEM
This is my second time staying at this beautifully decorated, well appointed apartment. It is conveniently located in the wonderful Hill neighborhood within walking distance of some of the best Italian restaurants and also close to freeway access. I would definitely stay here again! Love!

The property was easy to locate and the parking lot was immediately outside of the residence. The interior was exactly as pictured. A comfortable king bed with extra available comforters. Was definitely within walking distance to several restaurant and bakery choices. The neighborhoood was quiet and very respectful. Very nice to enjoy some gelati at the marble fountain located immediately to the rear of the property. Overall, a very good choice for a weekend getaway.

Great Place
We were more than happy with our stay! It had everything we needed and was very clean. The reserved parking was so nice. The location couldn’t have been better because you’re so close to so many restaurants, bakeries, and the gelato shop is literally right underneath you. It’s a great location! In the heart of the hill. You can walk to so many great places there a restaurants and shops all around. I do think the space could use a real place to sit in the living area. The futon sort of couch is a little low, and could be more comfortable. A small place to have a washer and dryer as well as wonderful. We will definitely stay there again.

"The Hill" Immersion Experience
My friend who grew up on The Hill insisted this was the property we should book. I'm glad I listened to her. The location couldn't be more perfect. It's in the very heart of The Hill, across from gorgeous St. Ambrose's church (gotta love those church bells) and right next to the piazza. The local, Italian-themed decor is lovely, and we had everything we needed. It's right over a gelato shop (Joe, the shop owner, was very welcoming), and we could walk to all the restaurants. It's also close to all the St. Louis attractions. The owners were very responsive. I would definitely book this place again on a return visit.

White Christmas on the HIll
We enjoyed spending Christmas on the Hill at your property. The accommodations were exactly as listed; the bed was comfortable as was the futon in the living area. We really appreciated the time Debbie and Joe took to place holiday decor around the apartment. It was lovely to look over and see the Santa figure. My son enjoyed it and mentioned this was the first time we had holiday decorations at a VRBO. It was nice to have a washer and dryer within the unit. We enjoyed dining at the local restaurants and standing in line to buy cookies at the St. Louis Baking Co. and Vitale's Bakery. The plaza right next door was beautifully lit during our stay. The residents of the Hill were all very friendly and welcoming. We spent two days in doors due to the -7 degree weather and still managed to enjoy the gelato from Gelato Di Riso. We felt like we centrally located to all the local attractions; more importantly we were near our family. We could have stayed a few extra days- I apologize for the delay in submitting the review- we got caught up in the Southwest fiasco. Thank you for sharing the Hill with us; we look forward to staying with you again.

Location, space, amenities--all perfect. Right in the heart of The Hill, a charming area with Italian flair. The accommodations were clean and well appointed. Lovely touches all over the place from the accent items to the throw blankets in each room. TVs is both the living/dining space and the bedroom. All the kitchen basics you need, including coffee and tea. We were very pleased.

Our Happy Place on The Hill
My granddaughter and I spent four lovely days exploring St. Louis knowing that we would be returning to our cozy apartment on The Hill each evening. We loved walking to get coffee and breakfast treats each morning and to sample Italian cuisine at several of the area restaurants at dinner time. We felt so safe and welcome, especially when residents in the neighborhood waved to us as we walked. The location of the apartment in the very heart of the area and the easy access to everything we wanted to see and do in the greater city made it the perfect place to stay.

If I could give 6 stars I would!
Great little spot in the heart of The Hill. We had delicious gelato and restaurants within walking distance. Check in/out was very easy and owners were quick to respond and accommodating. Would highly recommend and will be using this spot again if we return to St. Louis!
