Great place

Loved everything about this place! My only suggestion would be for someone staying a whole month like myself that more toilet paper trash bags dish soap etc be provided for the long stay. Also a crock pot would be nice to have to cook meals as well. I loved my stay and the property was amazing!

Fantastic Two BR Condo

My family and I (including two teens) had a wonderful time at this two BR condo! Condo very clean, had all the amenities needed plus more! Since we flew out to area, we didn't have beach chairs or travel coolers but this condo provided. We purchased a few noodles and left with condo as well. Just steps to beach, pool, and more. We've traveled to quite a few Florida beaches and felt this was one of the nicest ones we have ever stayed in! Highly recommend!

Definitely be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was amazing. It is a pain to have to use the key to get out of the pool area and to beach but we managed. Room had everything you need. Beds were decent and whole thing was very clean. Great view. Will be back and check them out first. A little dated but great shape. Just looked like grandma's beach place but that didn't matter we were there for the beach! Walk across the street to alot if places was great. Only downside was the elevators are very small and if you have a luggage cart only one person getting on.

Madeira Norte Unit 505

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been traveling to the Madeira beach area for over 20 years and have stayed at these condos, but never in this specific unit. We booked later than we usually do and didn't have many options, so we decided to move forward with this one. The unit was clean and well furnished. However, the building itself has gone down in quality. The elevators are old, take forever, and shake on certain floors. I also don't agree with the unit's a/c 72-degree max policy. It was very warm in the night and as native Floridians; we are accustomed to sleeping with the a/c at the temperature that we please (typically 70 degrees at night). There was a sign below the thermostat that clearly states that dropping it below 72 will freeze the unit and repairs will take 24 hrs. We had a weeklong stay during a holiday (4th of July) and its very uncomfortable to not be able to get good quality sleep because you have to worry about the a/c freezing over. At the price we paid, just sounds ridiculous to have to worry about. I would suggest adding that in the property's description, so renters are at least aware of the rule. I also didn't appreciate the SunHost agent forgetting to give us the key fobs when we checked in, made the check-in process pretty miserable when we had to depend on others to open the elevators with their key fob. I wasn't even offered to have them dropped off. When I called the office, I was told to come back and pick them up because I need them to get around the building.

Great apartment on the beach

The balcony was the best of both worlds with a beach view to the right and the street view to the left. Sunhost people are always great to deal with. We've stayed in multiple Sunhost units over the years in this same area and will do so again.

We loved 505 Madeira Norte!

We had 2 issues with unit 505. 1st no bath tub. 2nd The owner had control of the AC we had asked for a constant temp of 74it constantly increased to 78. A few minor inconveniences but overall wonderful stay.

Location, parking, beach access all exceptional! Only issue was with the air conditioning. We have a 3yr old, and the original contract stated the a/c was not to be set below 72F (totally fine). However, the thermostat was locked so that we could not put it down below 73F, not the end of the world. However, the thermostat continuously would change the temp back to 78F multiple times a day. We would come home to put my kid down for a nap and he would either be unable to sleep he was so hot, or he would wake up crying nonstop because he got so hot and sweaty that he was literally soaking wet. I should be able to set the air and not have it change back and make us uncomfortable or make my son wake up soaked!

Location!

Location was PERFECT as we are directly across the street from St. Johns Pass (resteraunts, water sports, shopping and ice-cream). AND on the beach so best of both worlds. Property was clean and well stocked, had beach chairs, cooler for the beach and inflatables and the view was probably one of the best in the condo being on the 5th floor. I would definitely recommend this condo.
