“Beautiful house and location. Host is pretty thoughtful and thorough. The only issue was we were unable to contact host for any anything like internet password etc”

“The property photos must have been taken a long time ago and are misleading, particularly the living sreas, which are dark and in need of an upgrade. Despite earlier negative reviews, the bathroom and showers and hot water were fine. Host did not respond to emails seeking reassurance that issues raised in other reviews had been addressed.”

“Delightful visit to The George and Dragon! Friendly and obliging staff, great pub, room and breakfast. Rooms renovated to a high standard and beautifully furnished. Loved the windows which could be opened to cool the room and bonus bath to relax in. Friendly bar staff when we had a drink in the pub before bed and lovely lady served us at breakfast. Really impressed and highly recommend a stay. 10/10”

“Property appears to have been recently made over, everything is new and fresh, extremely clean and although on the small side the rooms are perfect for overnight stays, comfortable bed and with more than enough tea/coffee supplies unlike a lot of places. The continental breakfast was excellent quality and plentiful. We could not fault the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall excellent value for money and we will definitely go back”

“Overall my stay was satisfactory, but the level of noise coming from back of house staff late at night was appalling. My room was directly above the kitchen/loading area and it was honestly unbelievable how much noise the staff were making "cleaning up" in the evening, consistently from about 8pm-11:30pm when I had enough. It was like they were literally throwing metal containers around and shouting across the space at full volume. I live in central London and have never experienced disruption……

“The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Evening meal and breakfast were very good. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom could do with some updating. Several significant cracks in the walls and evidence of water leaks around the heated towel rail and over bath shower head was leaking water out when running the bath taps. We only had one night so not really an issue for us.”
