“Staff are really great and friendly! The room we stayed is near the alley which is noisy during the night that we couldn’t sleep well. And the pillows are flat that are not comfortable. ”

I messaged the hotel through Expedia in advance to explain the situation — they acknowledged my message regarding parking, but completely ignored my notice that I would not be arriving that day. “I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. Breakfast starts at 10:30 to 11:30 which is very late and checkout is 10am. Weird timings, hence my theory they……

“Very clean and well equipped. WiFi signal not very strong. We would stay again but only if the mattress was replaced for a better quality or given a decent topper. It was extremely uncomfortable and affected getting a good night's sleep. There were several comments in the guest book in the property, going back a while that mentioned the uncomfortable mattress, so the owners should be aware.”
