「The cottage is nice and in a lovely position in Tideswell but I think you need to make people more aware that the garden has no grass and I dont think it is suitable for dogs. Also the stairs upto the bedrooms are very steep and slippy so really not suitable for older people. Other than that the cottage is lovely and if we didnt have our dog with us, would of been nice.」

「Four days walking with friends - great location and lovely property with very friendly and helpful owner The layout of property worked very well for us - we self catered and the kitchen had everything we needed. 「Really happy with our stay in Furness Vale.The communication and information from Andy was great.Short drive to most of the peaks and Buxton.The walk along the canal path to New Mills was very pleasant.The cottage was very homely and comfortable and a great place to head back to after a long day walking.Definitely stay there again. 」

「Dark and gloomy area, not safe seeming at all. We were sent wrong apartment number so spent an hour trying to find 18 when in fact flat was 22.Heat kicked in at midnight and was impossible to turn down, WiFi barely worked and downstairs toilet was broken. Floor between living area and dining was cracked and constantly tripped people up. No dishwasher tablets also but overall most things we could have gotten over but sending wrong address just set the tone for a poor experience.Overall shabby and...
