"Our stay was as mostly as expected except for the issue of no hot water till we checked out in the morning. We were told the problem was caused by the Scotland water company so the hotel had no control over the issue. Nevertheless, it was not very pleasant when you cannot shower after a long day ..."

A lovely old Victorian spa town with the old railway station and buildings around a must to see. The buildings are very unusual as some are Mediterranean in style. A lot have been made into hotels which is a shame and annoys the locals apparently.
