Our room was clean and quiet, staff friendly and the grounds well kept. For an economy stay we are quite happy with this place. Being just outside of Sturbridge, we escape the heavy traffic yet its close to all Sturbridge has to offer.

Room had 2 hangers, no hooks or towel bars in bathroom. When heat came on a very noisy fan accompanied it causing restless sleep. The smell of old dog hair permeated room when fan turned on. Our non smoking room was situated one room down where people were smoking cigarettes and pot again permeating the room. One of the mattress pads was full of material piles that was felt through the sheets. Had to keep unplugging and plugging in cords as many of the outlets did not work. If I hadn’t already paid for the second night we would have checked out.

Don't miss this lodge hidden in the green hillside near Sturbridge. Nice quiet location, and a neat 2nd storey veranda in Bldg 2 one can access from the upper lot to slow and and chill out. Very reasonable, and fairly priced Thank you.

The AC was amazing and the man at the front desk was very nice and friendly. The property itself wasn't the most up to date and the bed was extremely firm. Luckily there was a cote in my room for some reason and that was extremely comfortable so ended up sleeping in that. Needed some updating for sure but was clean enough save for a few hairs in the washroom, no bugs. Good for a one night stay.

The owners are great- very kind! The hotel rooms are okay. They are dated and could be a little cleaner in some areas. The areas that mattered most like sheets and towels. Those were clean. I think they would benefit from replacing the shower curtains though. Overall for the price it’s worth it depending on what you’re doing.
