"Nice clean rooms amazing breakfast"

"The property was a nice and fairly clean motel. The breakfast was adequate but pretty thin on offerings- sub- par considering other 3-4 start motels I've stayed. They need a better deodorizer for the rooms as mine smelled musty or "pickley". Everything else was fine considering what I paid for. Also, considering how few people were staying there the days I was there, it seems like they wouldn't need to fill rooms directly over each other making the noise issue above unnecessary. The floors are pretty thin and any movement was heard."

"The rooms are exceptionally clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and well done. From cold or hot and pastries. The decor of the entire hotel is outstanding with attention to detail like no other. Individual sitting areas for couples or groups all throughout the hotel. If I were to nick pick a few minor details it would be a larger tv, better shower heads (the kind that have a solid spray as opposed to one that has no flow in the center), and possibly adjustable. The tub is slippery, so a grab bar would be helpful. We thouroly enjoyed our stay and plan to return. Overall, definitely a 5*"

"We had a great stay at the Farmstead Inn. The room was very clean and every day they came in to clean and give us fresh towels. The free breakfast was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The housekeeping left us a personal message everyday. We will be staying there every time we go to Shipshewana."

"Lady at front desk was nice. The King size room with jacuzzi was nice a few minor issues like bathroom light cover cracked and tub plug not working properly. Breakfast was fantastic. Pool was disgusting (black in color and cover off) and the outside made us want to turn around and not go in, glad I did though. It needed lots of clean up outside."
