「The owner is very very nice. We biked from nyc, and heading to upstate NY. We booked this hotel at the last minute because it's close to empire State trail. The room is quiet and clean. The owner allowed my kids to pick the strawberry, raspberries and tomatoes. Everything tasted so sweet right off the vine. This literally made their day. 「My wife and I stayed here for a joint birthday/anniversary—our first real vacation since 2019. The location is convenient to downtown Catskill, but the property condition is “comfortable cabin”—just what we wanted. The backyard felt remote and we had a wonderful opportunity to stargaze. Close to great trails, restaurants, or nothing at all. My only recommendation: an evergreen hedge to provide privacy for the front porch, which has lovely cabin vibes but whose proximity to the road feels better...
