The cottage was bigger than I expected from the photos but just as beautiful. Having two full bathrooms was great. The kitchen is large and updated, and the beds were all comfortable. The cottage is quiet and peaceful, and the hot tub with outdoor lights is a great place to relax.

Wonderful home within close distance to Sullivan marina. Great setup for a family vacation. Plenty of parking for our cars and boat trailer. We enjoyed our time together. My kid’s loved the hot tub and daily visits from the puppy. We will definitely book again next year!

Perfect quiet getaway !

This location was absolutely perfect for a peaceful and relaxing weekend! The sunsets were beautiful! The cabin was exactly as described and I instantly felt at home. Quiet getaway

We wanted a nice quiet spot away from 4th of July fireworks. It was a cute little place. Very dog friendly. Very relaxing. Sullivan Bakery had really good doughnuts. One thought - there were no covered or locking garbage cans inside at all. A dog-friendly property should have those to keep dogs from potentially getting into something they shouldn't.

Hidden gem

This is a beautiful new home complete with all the amenities. Everything was remembered when setting up this home. The hot tub on a starry night is incredible. Plenty of towels are provided too. You won’t find such a great home anywhere near this area. Visit Aikmans Wildlife Adventure and the nearby parks for hiking. Fireworks in Arcola are a huge deal and shouldn’t be missed if you’re here around the 4 th of July. Watch from the hot tub!

Amazing sky views

This property was absolutely great all around! The open space, clear sky with the sunset and stars, as well as the silence and privacy was perfect coming from the city. Check in was very easy and communication from the owner was super quick and responsive before and during the trip as well. The fire pit and hot tub did now disappoint! Many house items were also provided. Heads up for any dog owners with reactive dogs, there is a very sweet and friendly outside dog that roams the property. He was not a bother at all, but make sure to communicate with the owner in case your dog is planning to spend time outside. Would very much recommend overall!
