Fun for all

Green Turtle Oasis was perfect for our month in the FL Keys. We had family visit several times while we were there and there was plenty of room/supplies for all. The pool is small but perfect to cool off and if saltwater is your preference you can plunge in the canal. We had a couple of issues but the management co. was quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again.

Great extended family trip

Extended family of 7, plus 2 dogs enjoyed our trip. Plenty of room for everyone. Very clean, well laid out, and well-equipped. Property manager took care of any issues we had, although I feel that some of the issues should have been taken care of prior to our arrival (rotting handrails & non-working lights going up stairs - both safety issues). We loved the pool (heated!), lawn chairs, and rack for storing our paddleboards. While out paddling, we saw a manatee, sharks (nurse & bonnethead), turtles, starfish, & stingrays. We didn't catch much fish, but we had fun trying. They have the best showerhead I've ever had in a rental! I wouldn't call it "dog-friendly" as the rocks throughout the yard were very hard on my dog's paws (no sand or grass). We loved spending the evenings on the comfy outdoor furniture on the screened-in porch or playing games at the dining table. We cooked most of our meals, baked cookies & cupcakes, and spent lots of time in the pool. We didn't want to go home!

Great house, not much relaxation this year!

This is a well-built, well-appointed home for extended family get togethers. This is the second year we rented this home for a month or more. The home is quiet and has all the amenities you might need. Loved the pool with plenty of seating and shade/sun options. The outdoor kitchen is very nice, though the previous guest left no propane. We always try to leave some for the next guest. Having said all of that, this year for some reason every update needed at this home was being done while we were there. In 42 nights, I believe someone was in the house or yard working 30 of these days at least. The owner put in a new sprinkler system, which led to plumbing issues, the palm trees were getting their annual trim for two days, the outdoor landscaping people came several times, and the pool is cleaned every Tuesday, (which we expected). The plumbing issue was never able to be corrected (no cold water in primary shower), so we asked to turn the hot water heater down to be able to use the shower. The handyman, Jake, tried several ways to get the shower head to work properly. (It was fine when we arrived but changed after the irrigation went in.) I understand cleaning while we were there, but there was very little privacy in the weeks we were there. It was a little disappointing.
