Family looking to relax and explore

The cabin and pool were perfect. Fantastic restaurants very nearby. Only thing I was a little disappointed in was the shoreline and fishing. No beach and very shallow water throughout the entire bay. I'd definitely stay here again, just plan on traveling if you're looking to catch any fish.

These are great older cottages. Not luxurious, great for fishing, relaxing away from the bustle of Key West but a short drive to all the fun. Local restaurants are great Tonio's was definitely our favorite. Lobster and local fish. Skewered shimp with rice and great sauce. We had a relaxing time

Perfect place in the Keys

This two bedroom bungalow style rental was perfect for my cousin and me. Only 30 minutes from Key West (our jumping off point to visit Dry Tortugas National Park). We were there three nights and appreciated the quiet. Property is on the water, has a swimming pool and coin laundry available. We cooked both nights and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

This cottage was perfect!! It was the perfect size for the 3 of us. Very clean, no bugs, great water pressure, comfortable beds, refridgerator and freezer were large. Loved the long dock! Even the 2 foot long iguana!! Would definitely stay there again!!

Quiet location, beach nearby

Close to Key West, one of its madness or expensive hotel costs! Two bedrooms. Shared - Boat dock and tiny swimming beach on property, we swam every day in the ocean. Also a swimming pool that seemed to be cleaned regularly. Kitchen is partly stocked - reading instructions helps a lot!

Taste of Old Florida

If you are looking for an escape after you explore Key West and the other big islands, this is the place. Nestled back and nice and quiet, this place exudes relaxation. The little cottage was perfect. Has all that you need. If you like to fish I caught a bunch off the docks and boat ramp. Or just chill by the water. Would definitely go back!

This was a good location for venturing out. Close to Key West. Very hot when we visited and the air conditioning worked great! Could use some updates…. new coffee pot, new shower liner, etc. All in all the property served our needs.

Blissful Getaway

Spent Monday through Friday enjoying the peace and tranquility of this beautiful location. We brought a 22 foot center console with us and had no problems launching at the onsite boat ramp or tying up to the dock. Had to pay particular attention to the tides for fishing excursions as the immediate waters are very shallow. The cabin was adequately appointed for our needs and clean upon our arrival. The pool was also spotless and there were plenty of chairs/lounges for sitting pool and/or dockside. We did not venture down to Key West, but a family member did, and it was a short drive for him. We completely enjoyed our stay and look forward to keeping this in our 'favorites' for future plans in the Keys.

great location - not very clean

This is a very nice location - nice little pool very sparse but nice unit - however, house keeping really needs to be up graded. large clump of hair and dirt on bathroom and smaller clump of hair and dirt on kitchen floor. Some one else's clothes left in dresser drawer, large stain in dresser drawer, dust webs coming from ceiling in the bedrooms, all of the floor moldings covered in dirt and dust. toilet paper holder kept falling off the wall. Generally did not seem as it had been cleaned very well at all.

Needs a little help

The grounds are good. The pools were clean and plenty of deck and dock space. The cottage itself needs help. It needed general maintenance on it. It needs caulking in the bathroom. It needs weather strips around door as it is not tight. There was not enough hand towels and there are no oven mitts in the kitchen. The exhaust fan has been taken out. The ceiling fan in one room only works on high. The ac vents and exhaust fan in the bathroom needs cleaning. We were happy about the porch except the screen door does not lock and one of the chairs was broken. The kitchen sink does not have strainers to wash dishes by hand and there was not any dish rags there.
