Wonderful home in the FL Keys

Beautiful, clean, well maintained property. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Gorgeous view of the water. Wonderful dock where we fished daily. Many Lounge chairs by the pool and seating under the deck for shade. We took advantage of the kayaks available for use. I read my book and had coffee on the screened in upstairs deck every morning, overlooking the water. There were plenty of kitchen amenities available as well as dish detergent, soap, etc. The linens and towels were very nice; not the typical thin towels and sheets you usually find. The beds were very comfortable. We loved this house and can not wait to return!

Beautiful property

The house was perfect for our family (3 adults and 2 teens). There were plenty of seating areas-both sunny and shaded. We loved the kayaks and the pool. The screened in porch was a well used area as well-ceiling fans would have helped move the air. Inside was beautiful and had everything we needed!! Short drive to grocery store, restaurants, bait shops, and beaches. Reasonable drive to Key West as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place

Property was very well kept. Beautiful flower garden with pond. Home had everything you could ask for. Beds and furniture very comfortable. Owners were there during our stay but never really saw them. Talked to them at the end our stay and they were so nice. Will rent this again in the future.

Wonderful Stay!

Can’t wait to return! I have to say that initially I was a little apprehensive when I read that the owners may be present during our stay, but very quickly my apprehensions were lifted as we rarely saw Nancy and Bob. When we did have a chance to have a quick visit, they were lovely, gracious hosts. The property is well-maintained, and it is a beautiful location. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Everything you need for a Keys Trip

What a great spot that allows you to discover not just one part of the Keys but adventure all over! Location and boat dock made for such an easy, yet fun, summer trip. It was great to be able to get off the boat and pop right into the private pool or enjoy the sea breeze on the hammock. The house itself was clean, inviting and comfortable. We slept well and ate well due to the great beds and well appointed kitchen. Plus side the neighborhood was quiet and allowed us a good night sleep. Thank you for the memories!

Key west trip

Over all it was a nice trip. The home is beautiful and the views are spectacular. We had some issues with no AC for the first night there and no washer until the day before we were set to check out. We did not let any of it ruin our vacation. I still would recommend staying there. Amy the property manager was very responsive and resolved the issues as best she could.

Family Review

We really enjoyed staying here for a week. The home was lovely, very clean, and we had plenty of space. We particularly appreciated the screened porch and the pool. The views were beautiful. One thing to be aware of is that the washer and dryer occupy the closet in one of the bedrooms and there are no doors covering them. That guest just doesn’t have space to hang things. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances, dishes, pots/pans, etc. The only thing we could have used more of were pods for the dishwasher. We cooked a few meals and could only run the dishwasher three times. We did discover one baking sheet was dirty (had crumbs and oil on it). Overall, we all agreed that it was a wonderful place to stay.

Pleasant stay

House was really nice. Great view! Loved the well stocked kitchen and screen porch. Boat dock made it nice and was easy access to the channel. My only complaint was it is not mentioned in the description of the house that you are responsible for making sure you wash and dry the towels and sweep prior to check out juat to make aure you get your deposit back. I have NEVER had to do all the cleaning that is required to get a deposit returned. Also, for a family of five that is staying a week, you would think more than 4 rolls of toilet paper would have been included. Barely any contact with rental management. Only when i reached out to them. And then when i let them know we were leaving early the day of check out, i received no response. Had a good time, but will probably not be back. Oh! And it doesn't mention in the description that the owners have a small place under the house where they stay sometimes. We didn't see them, but had we known, this might have changed our minds.prior you was

Great house in Florida Keys

We enjoyed everything the house offers! Having kayaks and boat access to the bay along with fishing gear made out trip fantastic! We loved having a pool too. Everything in the house was clean and convenient for us to use! We can tell the owners take great care of it and like their guests to have everything to make the stay unforgettable. Starfish House In Little Torch Key - Wonderful!

The water view from the house, sky at sunrise, wrap around screened porch, very clean pool, and warm weather all were fantastic! The kitchen is also the best stocked we have ever had in a rental. Even the frying pans were in excellent condition. The owners were in the apartment below, but were almost invisible. They are also very welcoming and helpful in any way possible when we did see them. Best House and so convenient!

Communication was amazing! I’m sure I drove them crazy with questions but they responded so quickly! The dock was great for the bait we rented for the week. The house has everything you need! I’d say that it looked better in person than through the pictures…and the pictures looked AMAZING! We were throughly happy! The kayaks were perfect, the pool was perfect, the rooms were perfect…..it was PERFECT!

This home is absolutely lovely! The views are great ! The house is clean , open and comfortable. The pool is much appreciated to cool off in the afternoons. The host has a few items to make floating around even better . The porch is a great outside dinning area. A ceiling fan would be a perfect addition! Dock is in great shape and we so appreciated the bumpers they had in place. We had no trouble navigating our 24’ center console boat in and out of the lagoon with the markers they have in place . Overall a perfect week to enjoy each other and make fun family memories ! Thank you for sharing your home with us .

Amazing view, incredibly clean, home away from home

We loved our stay at this rental. Pros: We very much appreciated all the outdoor seating areas. There is a screened porch that wraps the entirety of the house on the 2nd floor. So depending on the time of day, it was great to have different seating options. There were plenty of reclining lounge chairs by the pool and dock. Also, the garden in the front of the house is adorable. There’s a lovely sitting with a waterfall and path that winds through the garden. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. However, we didn’t really make a lot of meals as there were so many great bars and grills nearby. The view from the kitchen and living room is phenomenal!! Leaving that view is going to be hard. Having a fridge that has an ice maker is a nice perk. The home was extremely clean and welcoming. Having outdoor freezers was nice for my kids and husband to put their bait in. Ki-Kai’s bar is within walking distance. The food was great. They also cooked our fish that we caught on a charter fishing trip. Cons; I’m nitpicking and none of these are dealbreakers, but, I would recommend bringing your own pillow. The beds were all comfortable though with enough bedding. I didn’t realize the owners have a home in the lower level of the house. I saw an email the week before we arrived that said the owners come and go, but they have a small apartment in the lower level. It is in the house description and completely an over site in my end for not paying attention to it. I was disappointed at seeing this before we arrived, but it ended up not being an issue at all. The owners tried their very best to stay away from wherever we were. They were very friendly the one or two times we saw them and stayed to themselves. The gentleman was great with giving my husband fishing tips and even offered the use of a fishing pole because our luggage was lost for a couple days. I would highly recommend renting this home. It was very evident things that the owners paid attention to detail. It was a terrific vacation!
