“This is the second time we have stayed at the Grand Dunes. We were there one year ago, liked the property and returned this year. It had an old time style from the lobby to the rooms. This year we found the room to be quite neglected. The items we noted were as follows: The shower door would not close and had about a 6" gap. The iron had the pointed end broken completely off. The TV cabinet doors were hanging by only one hinge so it could not be closed. We stayed in the room and made the……

“This was our first time here. It was my wide and me plus our daughter and 3 year old grandson. The property was wonderful. Things we loved: 1. So close to the beach with great beach access 2. Amenities: The waterpark, the indoor poor, the arcade, and the outdoor pool 3. Friendly staff 4. Onsite restaurant has very good breakfast. 5. Clean, spacious rooms. (If we had had a broom, we could have kept the sand at bay) Things we would change: 1. Automatic doors - the carts are hard to get……

“The room was comfortable and clean.”

“Room was a lot smaller than the pictures made us believe. Had to get maintenance to fix both tv’s upon arrival. Our door was broken making it impossible for us to get out of the room easily without The door was never fixed”

“Excellent property the only issues we had was with the shower in the primary bathroom not draining properly and the ceiling fan in the primary bedroom not functioning properly. We didn’t stay long so it wasn’t a huge issue as the ac was adequate and the shower was the worse the last day of our stay.”

“The kids were very happy with the water park. The bathtub in our room didn’t drain well but aside from that we were happy with the location and amenities.”
