  • Steps from the Atlantic Ocean and beautiful beach dunes of Sunset Beach is our 2nd floor Studio which has Ocean Views from our front porch bench. Inside, we have all the basic & functional accommodations for short/mid/long term travelers looking for an affordable place to stay on the beautiful island of Sunset Beach! Please send an inquiry if you are looking for a month or longer stay and I can provide discounted rate options. The Continental Motel was the first Motel in Sunset Beach.

The property was as described and very conveniently located right across from the Island market and within steps of the beach. The host was very responsive and prompt with their responses. If we were to come back, we would stay here again.

Very convenient to the beach and a few local stores. Easy access to the beach. Missed not having any kind of a kitchen but it slept well and it was quiet. Overall a very nice stay unless you want to spend significantly more money.

I really liked the proximity to walk to the pier and beach as it was on the island. Also the planetarium and Zipline park were just a very short drive back inland.

Just what we were looking for! Clean, very close to the beach, pier, shopping and food. Small little town but everything you need and everything else is a very short drive.

Great Location

The room was clean and comfortable and quiet (you could not hear others in the hotel). Location was awesome, just steps away from the beach as well as supplies, bike rentals, the fishing pier. First time to Sunset Beach and definitely not our last. Beautiful location.

Long weekend getaway

This is not a super fancy place but was so perfect for our long weekend visit! It was very fresh and clean, offered just the right amenities, and bed and shower/water pressure did not disappoint. We appreciated the breeze from the ocean and distance to the Island Market and pier.

Cute Condo Just a Walk to the Ocean

We really enjoyed our stay! Cute condo, clean and had everything we needed! The owner was great with communication! Ocean access was just a short walk and pool was right below! Great for a get away!

Nice place to stay!

Clean and no smells and across the street from the beach with a small view of ocean being upstairs.
