"There is a lift, and the bed is comfortable and clean. There is a set of toiletries on entry.
The bathroom was clean, shower had good water pressure and was warm.
However, the walls would benefit from cleaning. The light fixing just has a main light.
The hotel says there is heating however it was cold the first night then on the second night in -7 degree there was no heating in the room.
It's main function is a love hotel and sound proofing seemed sort of okay, some noises were still audible...

"Property did not have an elevator. Room was way too small but the bathroom was nice and big. The place is old and not too clean needs renovation. Need more English speaking speaker even if it is a little. Did not feel too safe if you're a solo traveller. I would not recommend that. "

"The washroom was ridiculously stinky.
I wish the owner installed odor blocker in the drain before we arrive, I wouldn't mind even if it was cheapest from Daiso.
And the room was small, mostly filled by a bed, only a tiny space was available for our luggage, couldn't let the fresh air in because the window was blocked by the wall.
But the bed and the washroom was clean except the smell."

"It is okay, if you plan on being cheap. But the interior design is odd, staff meant well. But, hard to get in touch with. Definitely do give it a try but have a plan B!"

"I recently had the opportunity to stay at this new hotel. On a positive note, the staff were very nice and accommodating. I also appreciated the convenient communal area, which offered a nice selection of water, coffee, and some snacks.
However, my experience was hampered by the room design. I found the space quite claustrophobic. The room featured only one tiny window, which made the space feel confined, and disconnected from the outside world. If you are someone who appreciates natural light...

"Parking was plentiful. We had a wonderful view of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Proximity to Namdaemun Market and Myeongdong was ideal. The exterior and surrounding area was clean with a nice sitting area outside of Starbucks. Room was small but we were there to sightsee, not stay in a hotel room. Air conditioning was superb! The mattress was hard but pillows and blankets were perfect. Amenities included collagen eye patches, bubble bath, slippers, waters, and more. We had 2 rooms, one of the rooms did not have the eye patches but I’m sure they would have provided them if we called the front desk. The elevators were fast and felt safe. Will definitely stay here again."
"The hotel is immaculate and clean. The staff are super helpful. The room had ample amenities. We had a premier suite so had the washing machine dryer kitchenette etc and was very comfortable with all the modern equipment. Location is great, its walkable distance from the main tourist attractions. There’s a convenience store at the hotel which offers tax free service. And another convenience store just behind the hotel.
We added breakfast which was also very nice. Fresh quality food with very efficient staff. We didn’t have English breakfast tea in our room so if you’re a tea drinker then you’ll need to bring your.own. However the highlight of my stay was their premium shampoo, conditioner and body wash! I NEED to find out where to get them. Had an amazing time! Thank you everyone at Hotel the Botanik."
THE GRAND LOTTE SEOUL (Formerly: Lotte Hotel Seoul)
8/10 Good
"I requested makeup room, but I was pushed back for three hours because they have a priority rooms to be cleaned. My room was never mad up because I had to give up and rest. It was unacceptable. I left at 11 AM came back at 2 pm.It still wasn’t done. That was the only thing."
"Second time I have stopped here.. the hotel and staff are very good but suffers from a few issues.
1, The room smoke detector is annoying as hell.. it flashes a really bright light every 3 seconds.
2, The Master light switches at the bedside have a really bright LEDS that light up the entire room.
3, the lifts have a mind of there own, can be waiting ages for a lift.
Would I stop here again.. yes the area around the hotel is really good for food"
"The hotel was clean and conveniently located near public transportation, with buses, trains, and the subway making it very easy to get around. There are also two nice malls nearby with plenty of food and shopping options. We didn’t use many of the hotel amenities during our stay, but overall we had a very good experience and would definitely stay here again."
"That was my another Toyoko stay. Compare to others that was not the best. Breakfast was OK but the room was not clean, hair was everywhere. Bed was comfortable, bigger then other hotels offered."
