“The cabin was clean, well-equipped and homey. Though we did not use the fireplace of pit, a firewood bundle was provided. Read the instructions about navigation directions carefully and print them out. Google maps is useless in this location. It is on a dirt road, wirh which my Mini Cooper had no problem. Super comfortable, like staying at a friends' cabin for a week. Whatch out for poison ivy around the perimeter. Stairs are a bit uneven, so use caution. Could use a few handyman repairs (nail……

“This property is very clean and perfect for a family getaway to the mountains. I give this property 5-Stars because it was tremendous value and met trip needs perfectly. The house is close to Cherokee and to several white-water rafting companies on the Nantahala River. One thing to note: be prepared to be unplugged. I loved it, but it took a minute for my wife and kids to accept that there is no internet or ATT cell service. No emails, no phone calls, no texts. Perfect for me, but maybe not……
