“I want to give a really balanced view about The Stone House Hotel. I was staying for two nights on business and I found all of the colleagues that worked there to be extremely friendly and helpful. The food served is of a high quality. I had both the breakfast and items from their Indian menu - everything was really good. The downsides are: there is no air conditioning in the hotel. I know we are in the peak of summer but the rooms were stiflingly hot - the single fan provided just wasn't……

“We have stayed at this hotel quite a few times and always have a pleasant stay. Hotel is spacious, has lovely garden settings to walk out, rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds, Staff always pleasent and helpful and we have never had any issues. Pool area and steam and sauna rooms are great, although can sometimes get quite busy. Not yet used the spa facilities or the huge golf area as our stays are normally eat, quick pool usage, breakfast and go. Highly recommend”

“Hotel was overall good bit dated food in restaurant was very good shower didn’t work in first room so we got upgraded to another room reception staff were excellent she even came and helped us move our stuff. Door lock went wrong on room but was sorted really quickly. We were there for 3 nights used the pool which was nice but jacuzzi was not working unfortunately. Sorry sounds a bit negative but there was a lot of good parts as well and if we were up that way again we would stay there”
