"From the moment we walked into the Strand Hotel, the staff were there, smiling and going the extra mile for us. The room was simple and very comfortable-and best of all quiet. We were in the second floor below the rooftop terrace and not a sound came through. We slept so well. The bed a comfortable and the room and bathroom clean. For us, the staff are the highlight of this secret little hotel. They are just so kind and friendly, they even remembered us and our story the night after checking in when we ran into our check-in staff member at the bar. The breakfast is simple and they provide fruit and yoghurt for celiacs. We will definitely stay there again and recommend you do too. "

"This Holiday Inn property is conveniently located near the King's Cross station making transportation very easy. The hotel is modern with updated rooms. The on-site restaurant serves a delicious hot breakfast buffet with many food options. The staff was welcoming and helpful. I really appreciated being allowed to check in a couple of hours early to rest a bit after a long overseas flight. Overall, a wonderful stay. Thank you to everyone there!"
