"It is a nice older, but nicely renovated country home. I liked that there are neighbors on both sides so it didn't seem that we were "out there" on the prairie all alone. We would stay there again. AC was great. Would have been nice to have cable TV, but we didn't watch TV much. Would be a very nice place for a family or a small family reunion."

"We are from Connecticut and were visiting family in Kansas. The lodge was perfect. Darcy communicated when we booked about grocery store availability in the area. It was just my husband and me. But Darcy was more than welcoming in allowing us to have our grandchildren spend a few nights with us. The only suggestion would be to add a table and chairs and place on the wall under the TV. Darcy gave us a folding table and we brought the outside chairs in which made a big difference when the grandkids were there. She did purchase some tv tables which will be very helpful as well. We will be back! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!"

"The property was much better than the pictures revealed. Lots of room to visit with family and we each had private space to retreat. Next time we rent, we will rent out the entire property- meaning- Include the 2 suites connected to building. We had a little problem with the AC but it was fixed immediately. Owners were very quick to respond. Perfect for family reunions! "

"Property was just as described & on a large, secluded lot with open farmland right across the street. The bed was SO COMFORTABLE, the kitchen open & well appointed. There's a grocery store not far away for any extra supplies & the covered front patio is a prime place to watch the sunset. We really enjoyed our stay & short walks w/ the dog over to nearby Sterling Lake. Would definitely recommend & plan on booking again when we return to the area. "
