"Excellent hotel overall, but the restaurant menu let's them down, they are a bit chips with everything, and let's have a curry shall we! The bar also needs to expand the ranges of beers and lagers on offer, not enough choice. The outside lighting needs to work, as we passed it both on arrival and when we returned from finding a decent dinner in Ollerton, and there is an enormous pothole in the entrance way, I drive a 4x4 so it can cope, but a small car could do suspension and tyre damage in that pothole, and would the hotel take responsibility? "

"Upgraded to a suite and it was absolutely perfect for my husband's Birthday surprise. Clean, spacious room, staff excellent especially Sam on reception she was so helpful and also the lovely girls on the Spa reception. Breakfast was brilliant with a great choice. Will definitely stay again."

"Very pleasant staff, nice food for evening meal and breakfast, reasonably priced evening menu (we had the fixed price menu). Room was large, felt cold when we arrived but that was due to the radiators being switched off. Once they were on the room warmed up very nicely and quickly. Room felt a little dated but nothing too bad, could do with a little fresh coat of paint. Our room (5) was also above the main bar area, think this might apply to all the rooms and we could hear the conversations quite clearly from below. So if you are a light sleeper and want to go to bed before closing time this might affect you. Overall, I was happy and would return for an overnight stay and food. "

"Location was great for our travels to visit family.Close to local pubs and 15 minute drive into Knutsford.I would say this an ideal property for a couple and it's designed for that.Adam, our host, was always available and helpful.It was a bonus meeting Wilbur, their pet pig too!"
