"The Canopy is in a redeveloped part of Osaka and well connected to the station by walkways through the shopping complex (the ground route is arguably quicker without a case). Oddly the reception isto on 11 and then your room has a different set of lifts. The latter are key card controlled and frankly it's a poor system. It took 3 goes every day to work and I watched others have the same issues. The rooms are excellent I was 25th floor so had an amazing view with floor to ceiling windows. The decor is quirky but modern and the floor space is excellent. The sliding door between the bathroom area and bedroom might not suit all but as a solo traveller I liked it. I will never not enjoy the toilet and it's gadgets lol. Breakfast is a massive buffet. Unfortunately zones aren't fully clear and I missed the cereal section for 2 mornings due to it being away from the main buffet. Busy times there was cues which was surprising in light of the number of tables. No restaurant on a weds or Thurs was again odd but the bar food made up for the lack of the same. The most important thing however was the staff. I speak no Japanese & we managed through their sometimes excellent English& a mutual understanding of what we were trying to do to get there & always with a smile. That relaxed me & made it that little bit special. If your budget allows stay here. It's a destination hotel & one night there was a party which means residents are abandoned & for this I deduct 1 Star."

"Gorgeous hotel, I will be dreaming about that truffle egg waffle breakfast for years to come. Location was also incredible, I didn’t expect to to be so close to the entrance even though I knew it was in the immediate vicinity. Only down side was that the beds were extremely firm, and the pillows felt like beanbags. I have a firm mattress usually but this was very stiff and uncomfortable by western standards. Not great after a long travel time or park day, but frankly I’d still come back and stay just for those waffles."

"Everything about the hotel was great, and we had a very pleasant stay overall. The room was comfortable, the hotel was clean, and the service was good. The only downside was the laundry room. It was very busy, and we often had to wait a long time for a washer/dryer to become available. Also, the all-in-one washer-dryer machines frequently did not dry the clothes completely, so the drying cycle had to be repeated. Other than that, everything was excellent, and we enjoyed our stay."
