"One word sums up this resort..... spectacular!!!!! From the room, the staff, the food, and the views just incredible!!! Me and my wife have traveled around the world and hands down this is the best resort we have ever been to!! We only stayed one night before boarding our South Pacific Cruise but we have already booked a week stay next fall!!! Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay incredible!"

"It is a beautiful property with a nice view from most rooms and a lovely black walkable beach. The oceanfront restaurant"

"Great location and very clean new hotel - would recommend."

"This was the cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed at. It was absolutely amazing! The staff was amazing and very friendly. I would definitely stay here again."

"Absolutely beautiful property off the beaten path, quiet, Very nice comfortable rooms."

"The Teahupo’o surf break is basically directly out front (off-shore at the reef, of course) but water taxis are right at the shore by the front gate of pension so the location could not be better from that POV. It’s a short walk (5 minutes) on a nice beach path from the Teahupo’o photo wave spot and Olympic rings, or you can drive to the pension and park but only if you’ve got a vehicle capable of river-crossing - so that adds to the charm of the place as well. "The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly."

"we loved the location and it was clean and hosts were nice - just wish they had had a hot tub for our weary bodies after traveling :)"

"Great little spot where you have privacy and share common areas like kitchen, bathrooms, showers. The host was helpful and friendly. The pool was great. Peaceful place. We stayed one afternoon-evening before catching our red eye flight back to Hawaii. It was a nice spot to take a nap, enjoy the pool, and freshen up. Would like to go back and check out the tree house! Maybe next time :)"

"This place is in a great location, walking distance to the market and ferry. It’s a little tricky to find and not a typical hotel. There are 4 or 5 large rooms/ units with large beds, large bathroom and small kitchenette. The staff was friendly and helpful"

"This is one of the most unique properties we have ever stayed in. Snuggled against the lush mountain side with a spectacular view of the lagoon, the Vanira Lodge is a must if in the Teahupoo area. We stayed here in 2015 and it was magical. We were so excited to be back and it was just as magical as the first time. Merci!"

"They were so lovely to work with!! Super helpful with how to get to their location, offering insight as a local. Then place was perfect I wish we could have stayed longer!"
