This was not the best hotel experience. Not easy to find, no elevator and not the friendliest staff. I had to go up multiple flights of stairs with luggage and no help. Also, I was told when I was headed out that front desk would be gone by 10pm, and that I would have to manually open the doors if I were out past that time without further explanation. As such, I made sure to get there by 10pm. As same staff I interacted with since checkin was closing up, I asked if I could get in, and he looked annoyed thinking I was a new person checking in late. Aside from all that, nicely located right by the temple.

Central old Taipei, great value
Perfect location in central old Taipei. Cannot ask for more for £27 per night. The rooms have a fridge and air conditioning, they're large enough to live with for a few days as you wont be spending much time in there. Cleanliness and staff were spot on.

This place is right beside a wonderful temple and I had an amazing view of it. Great location for walking to markets and experience the old charm of Taiwan. The staff are not present at all times but felt safe in the building. The only complaint is that the bed was too hard.

Room is Toooo small
The room is clean. The service is excellent. But the serious issue is that the room is super small., much smaller than the picture. The transportation is easy.

Good price for a good neighborhood, but the noise
Very reasonably priced in a great neighborhood right next to the Longshan temple and the Guangzhou night market, but aside from its price, the hotel’s got not much going for it. Decently clean bathroom, and sturdy bed. However, the worst thing about the room was the noise, as others have mentioned. Loud sounds of water moving through the pipes whenever other rooms are using water, and we had a loud cat in the alleyway that was bellowing its heart out all night - we were very tired so it wasn’t a bug problem, but surely the noises must’ve kept many others awake at night.

Overall, it was good. The front desk sevice was not there most of the time. The cleaning service was good. During the time, there was annoying construction noise during my 6-day stay. Anyhow, I feel good for my stay.

Comfortable budget hotel
Close to mrt station, nearby night markets, staff speak english, room service excellent, change towel everyday, room size is quite small but fair enough for its price and also we only use the room for resting at night, overall it was a pleasent stay,

We used google map and spent half an hour walking up and down, searching for the hotel with our luggage, actually it was there but hidden behind a back lane. We were given a room at the top floor and there was no lift, it was pretty tough carrying luggage up the narrow stairs. Room is also pretty small.

Nice hotel behind Longshan Temple (龍山寺)
The hotel is located right behind Longshan Temple (龍山寺), in a walk distance from Longshan Temple MRT Station. At first, I and my friend walked pass the small alley to the hotel, but Google Map help us to find. The male staff is very friendly and helpful. He speaks good English. My room is on the fifth floor. Unfortunately, there is no elevator. However, i had already known this condition from the the hotel info. The room is nice and clean. I had requested for an extra bed, 500 TWD pay at check in, so the space is quite tight but it is okay to me. Small bottles of water are provided. The bathroom is clean. Bath towels are also provided. You can also walk to Huaxi street night market, located nearby the hotel. Overall, i would recommend this place.

Clean, modern, small room in a great location.
We stayed here for 2 nights and after being in average to large rooms for the last week this was a small room. But, the friendly and helpful staff and, the clean room and convenient location more than made up for it. The bed and pillow were comfortable although the fridge didn't work well. It is a short walk to the MRT and of course located immediately behind Lung Shan Temple. Would definitely stay here again - I didn't mind the size after getting used to it.

Short stay for couple sightseeing
Stayed here for 4 nights with my fiancée and must say it completely blew away my expectations. The staff were absolutely amazing and couldn't do enough to help. Free water, free laundry, food recommendations locally, house keeping and their English was more than enough to help. Location was very good, literally eye sight of Longshan Temple and a pleasant walk to the central station area. Room was compact but very comfortable, very clean. Shower was brilliant and powerful ! Cannot fault this hotel.

Pretty close to alot of night markets. Literally one at each corner of the hotel. Theres also convenience store and a 24hr store that sells EVERYTHING. Overall good location near the MRT

Budget hotel with excellent service
Hotel is close to MRT, railway station and one of main attractions in Taipei - Long Shan temple. There are 3 local night markets nearby with tons of delicious street food stalls till midnight. Friendly hotel staff helped me to carry my luggage since there is no lift in the premise. They also offered extra free bottles of water and late checkout. I would rate it higher if I didn't find one cockroach one night. Maybe I just got unlucky since overall the room was quite clean in my stay of three nights.

Great hotel next to Longshan
The staff was friendly and welcoming.very good service.the location is fantastic, literally right next door to the Longshan Temple. The MRT is 2 mins walk and the night market is right on the street adjacent to the hotel. Couldn't ask for a better location. Great hotel and value!

nice hotel if you have limited budget, and its location is good, have night market nearby and close to MRT station. but the sound-proofing is not good in the hotel, you can hear what's going on in the corridor. the staff seems not so experienced in handling overseas traveller, when i presented the expedia booking form to them, it took quite a long time for them to finally confirm my booking and arrange a room for me.

Room was a little small but this is typical of Taipei. Most importantly, it was quiet and we could sleep really well! Exterior looks very old and it's tucked away in a small, dingy lane but the rooms and lobby is fine!

The hotel is located in just behind the Longshen Temple. The room was very clean and tidy, value for money. If I say cons about the hotel the room on the 2nd floor was a bit noisy because walls were maybe thin but other than that, the hotel is really perfect. Hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful. THere is a Seven Eleven on the other side of the hotel which opens 24/7.

Great hotel with great location
We really enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely, comfy bed and an awesome shower. The staff were friendly and there was normally one staff member who could speak some English. Easy to find, literally the alleyway right behind the temple and was really close to the mrt station. Night market nearby was good and a good base for getting around the city. Also easy to get to using public transport from airport. Would stay here again if in Taipei.

Back o long Shan temple meant it was rather quiet aside from the chanting in the early hours, but if a strange mucky spell in the room which made my partner a bit allergic buy the room otherwise was tidy and fairly clean, certainly better than a lot of budget hotels in Taipei.

Nice cost performance close to the station
Close to underground with good price. The room is clean but with some ants and monsquito. The staff are nice and helpful. Be aware the there are ladies with special career around and the hotel seems could be rent for them. Not recommanded for single or grouped ladies.

I like the location of the hotel and the staff. Miss Lao is very helpful even her English is limited. The famous LongShan Temple is only steps away and the mass transit is steps away. I will stay there again next time.
