This family-run guesthouse is a good half-hour walk from the train station, although there are buses every hour from 9:00 to 18:00 (6:00pm) that stop at the bottom of the hill. The establishment can sometimes pick you up or drop you off. The shared toilets and bathing facilities are clean and separated by gender, but the tired slippers at the entrance don’t seem like a very hygienic alternative to one’s own shoes… maybe we were spoiled by staying in too many business and apartment hotels and not in traditional accommodations like ryokans or guesthouses like this one. Staff communicated well in English.

My room was spacious and spotless. My window looked out toward the beautiful Japanese Alps, nice to wake up to! I would highly recommend booking the meal plans for both dinners and breakfasts... the inn is a bit of a walk from town (very do-able), but it was so nice to eat right there, and the meals were just fantastic! Staff is great, the baths are wonderful... would stay there again.

Friendly husband and wife team own the place. Close to Old Hida Village and Bear Cafe. They have a spa, great breakfast & dinner. Quiet, safe, nice place.

Abbiamo trascorso in famiglia un soggiorno davvero rilassante: piccolo onsen con area all’esterno e pasti giapponesi di ottima qualità. L’hotel si trova in una zona tranquilla, un po’ distante dal centro, ma è molto vicino a Hida no Sato, che si raggiunge in pochi minuti. Il personale è accogliente e sempre disponibile. Consigliato!

Personnel très accueillant et souriant. L’établissement est très propre et l’on a apprécié les yukata pour chacun d’entre nous pour aller aux bains. Pas de douches privées (en travaux) mais juste des onsens ( au top! ) pour homme et femme séparés. Rapport qualité / prix imbattable 😉

お部屋は2つベッドの隙間に2枚の布団をしくかたちで、荷物を置くスペースもない感じでしたが、寝るだけと割り切れば問題なしです。水回りは共用でしたが、大浴場がありよかったです。洗面スペースはにはペーパータオルや手洗い石鹸があるといいなと思いました。

部屋も広く、その他トイレお風呂洗面所も清潔感があり、ご飯の量もたくさんでとってもいい旅になりました！車で行かれる場合は少し狭い道を通りますが、駐車場もたくさんあるので停めやすいです！

다카야마에 오면 늘 가는 곳입니다;) 가까운 시내보다 여기를 선택하는 이유는 추억때문이기도 하지만 주변의 예쁜 풍경과 아늑한 료칸의 분위기 때문입니다. 원래도 굉장히 깔끔하고 시설 좋았는데 리모델링을 또 하셨더라고요 그만큼 신경써서 관리한다는 뜻이겠죠 너무너무 좋았습니다 식사또한 매우 훌륭합니다!

総合的に良いと思います😉

ご飯の食べる時間は多少融通が聞くので早くチェックインしなくても段取りをしてくれる❗ お風呂トイレも共同利用だが清潔に保たれているので使い心地は良い😃 食事も飛騨牛を使っていて美味しかった😉 肉量は少し足らないが御膳として満腹感を得ます。👍 部屋の暖房も静かで良く効いて要るので快適❗wi-fiも使えるがただ、部屋のコンセントが離れているので就寝しながらだとケーブルは3メートルは要るかも😥

Schöne Unterkunft mit Shuttleservice am Morgen

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit viel Platz im Zimmer. Es gibt sogar einen Shuttle in die Stadt am Morgen, da die Unterkunft etwas abseits liegt. Es gibt aber bis zum Nachmittag ÖPNV. Ich war mehr als zu frieden, wenn die harten Futons nicht wären, aber das war ja klar.
