Great stay, great location!

Our group really enjoyed our stay at this house. There was plenty of room for 4 adults, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a week long ski trip. The proximity to Taos Ski Resort was amazing. Would 100% stay here again in the future!

Wonderful Family Retreat

A wonderful home in beautiful surroundings. Very well equipped and maintained. Excellent communication with host and plenty of fun things to do in and around the property. Kids loved the upstairs area and all the games!

Loved being here! 14 hummingbirds! The house was stocked with things we needed and even more like hummingbird feeders! We loved listening to the river flow! The weather is amazing! Trails to hike just up the road. 20 minutes to Taos, an hour drive to Red River! Spent each day in a new place doing something amazing!

Great skiing stay

We came to ski Taos. The house is ideal. It’s a short drive to Taos Ski Valley. The house was clean and had all of the amenities one needs . You cannot go wrong staying here.

Awesome house!

This is our 7th or 8th time at this property and we absolutely love it! Kayta does a wonderful job of getting the house ready for our stay. The hot tub is perfect after a long day of skiing! The bedrooms are very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Our favorite home away from home!

Wonderful Winter Adventure

We stayed in Kayta's place the week after Christmas and everything was perfect. The home is amazing and has everything for an excellent family vacation. The three sleeping areas were good for the various needs of the family and afforded privacy but still gave the right amount of common space for group interaction. The place was spotless and met all expectations. Kayta was very helpful in giving us advice such as stopping at the Supermarket in Taos on the way up and the kitchen was very well supplied. There was absolutely nothing we would change and would go back in a heartbeat.

buyer beware. property manager trying to make some extra money.

our first impression was UH OH! We arrived at 4 o'clock like the check in said. the cleaning lady was there and said she was wrapping up. we had fun sledding a bit and exploring while she finished. almost an hour and a half later she left and we went inside. place was clean. roomy and kids were in awe. we contacted the property manager about a few issues ...still haven't heard back from her about those issues. nice views. the hot tub was a bit cold when we checked but did warm up rather quickly. all in all not bad until 10 days after we returned home and the property manager emailed to say she was charging $100 bucks for a dirty hot tub. we followed the instructions at the cabin and did as they instructed. the email stated that she couldn't get the hot tub cleaned in a 24 hour period and ready for the next guest and had to do a drain and refill. that made me think that they weren't following the 3 day between stay statement made on the property listing... why would 24 hour turnaround be an issue if they were following that protocol. not to mention i am by no means a hot expert. we were simply trying to enjoy a family vacation during these trying times. nonetheless the property manager Kayta abruptly replied with rude and demeaning language more than once in the email exchange inquiring about the photo she sent and me asking for a time and date stamped photo. still haven't received that either. all in all we enjoyed our stay. i just want to caution future guest to ask questions about unforeseen charges that Kayta may apply to their vacation.

Spring Break 2022

Couldn’t have been a better stay! Spectacular property and the property manager is FANTASTIC! Quick drive to the slopes, immaculate modern home ~ we have been staying here for 7 years now and couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else. This place feels like home. Spacious master bedroom and upstairs loft suite, clean well-equipped kitchen and large perfectly maintained hot tub on the deck. Best home in TSV!

Excellent ski cabin

We loved this location & cabin. Very private & super close to the slopes. We cooked most of our meals at home & had amazing take out from Taos a couple of nights. Hot tub and beds were great after active days. Loved being able to take out mountain dog with us. Thank you! Hope to come back next year!

Wonderful Home and Location

Our only complaint is that the trash is kept in the basement. For sensitive noses (like my wife's), it makes the entire home smell. There should be an outdoor trash bin.

Great Spot!

We had a great time here! The place was very clean, kitchen supplies well stocked, nice bathrooms and clean hot tub. Unfortunately, we did have a few pair of skis/snowboards placed on the deck stolen so be sure to keep your gear secure. That being said this place is a great spot if your skiing at Taos!

This house was perfect for a family of six ski trip to Taos. The house was fully stocked and very accommodating. The view was so beautiful and the location perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing!

We had an AMAZING experience at this property! The house is beautiful, comfortable and extremely clean! Every amenity possible has been thought of and was available. We came from Tennessee for several weeks, and communication during the reservation process, leading up to our stay, and while we were there was made easy! Kayta was extremely helpful! Definitely highly recommend!

Fathers Day 2021

We all enjoyed our stay at Casa de Toro! Views were breathtaking, river was right across from us, cabin was absolutely gorgeous! My father definitely had an amazing time! We will be coming back very soon!
