“Right next to lift 1 at the base, where there are chairs to sit and enjoy the view. Comfortable room with full kitchen. Just what I was looking for, a quiet, cool place to escape the heat and do some hiking. If you’ve never done it, Williams Lake is my favorite hike in New Mexico. Prior to July 4 (and maybe after) the restaurants at the ski area are only open Th-Sun. So if you don’t bring food, you have to drive back to Taos.”

“A few things keep this from being 5 star across the board: no hair dryer in the room and casita private courtyard landscaping not maintained like rest of the grounds. Otherwise, this place is a gem in Taos.”

“Where do I start on the wonderful stay we had at Hacienda del Sol? We arrived late for check in, but it was not a problem at all as the considerate staff at this wonderful B&B left instructions on how to get onsite, where to park (for free), and codes to the property and our room door. We had a large warm and very welcoming bedroom with a fireplace, a comfy couch and a rocking chair. The bathroom was huge with a jacuzzi style soaking tub, and a separate shower and toilet. The bed was super……

“We had a great stay. The hotel appears to be newly renovated, and everything felt fresh, clean, and modern. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful new bathroom. The kitchenette was very convenient, featuring a microwave, small refrigerator, and plenty of storage space. Having two TVs was also a nice bonus. Overall, the room was well-equipped, spotless, and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!”

“The hotel states they have ac in the rooms but they don’t. It’s a fan but at least the windows are able to be opened to get some cool air into the room”

“The hotel and grounds were quite lovely! The room was very comfortable. My only dissatisfaction was with the $100 one night pet fee and the fact that the room was on the second floor with cement steps.”

“Wonderful B&B. Rooms are wonderful. Large rooms. Only 3-4 minutes to center of town. Breakfast each day was great. Can’t believe there are better options on places to stay. Highly recommend.”

“Wonderful stay. The place has been around for 90 years so, it is rustic in some ways.. The room was cozy comfy. Enjoyed the cool, fresh air when the windows were open at night. Evaporative cooler was nice too, when needed. Overall a very Zen place to stay.”
