“I was pleasantly surprised by everything at the Golden club hotel. I'd been slightly worried by some reviews before we arrived but i can honestly say our stay in August was excellent. It's a great 3 star hotel. All the staff were brilliant, my children went to kids club on our last 2 days and loved it, huge thanks to Junior, Andre, Pedro and Vinny, especially Junior who took my daughter under his wing and Pedro who entertained my son. “Beautiful hotel for the price … large supermarket 2 minutes away was handy with refrigerator in room. 3 minutes to riverwalk, with shops, restaurants & beach ferry. TV’s are a little small for the size of the room and digital reception was poor. Stayed 6 nights and would stay again.”

“The room was quiet, the heat pump worked well, the water was hot, the pools were great. Very clean. We had trouble figuring out the cooktop and coffee machine, but the staff patiently taught us. Grocery store down the hill, and huge one at the mall nearby. Walking to Tavira wasn’t very nice, so we drove.”
