“Without a doubt the best hotel in southport and probably beyond. Lovely and clean ,comfortable beds and lovely helpful staff. I stay here quite regulary and it never lets me down.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Waterside Hotel. Parking in the basement was easy with lifts to all floors. The room was good, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only grumbles would be that it was difficult getting into the bath tub to have a shower and there was no fridge in the room.”

“Every where was immaculate, I had a single room and there was even an iron and board in the room, which was beautifully decorated. Cliff the host was so welcoming and the breakfast was delicous, so much choice always cooked fresh. Will definately be coming back”

“Kelly the host is really nice. Very up to date decor, however room wasnt the cleanest. Couldnt use two of the pillows as they smelt mouldy and were dirty cases Our room (101) came with two keys, one for room and one for front door which was explained, however our door couldnt lock. I phoned Kelly and she explained she would come and check it out within 10 mins. Upon arriving back at hotel having been out all day, our room was still unlocked. Fortunately we didnt leave anything of value in the……

“I stayed at the hotel between the 11-13 of July. Very hot weekend. Price of the hotel included PARKING and air conditioning. When I arrived I found out there is only a fan with water in the room. I was told exactly where to park by the receptionist which never bothered to let me know I need to register the parking as if I should miraculously know. I received a penalty for the for the free parking because I did not register and was never told to do so. I’m now having to pay £170 because of the……

“Massive error: I booked there quickly without checking the reviews first, and found myself in the must disgusting place ever... The young lad that gave me the keys was ok, but the room smell the cigarettes which gave me headaches and the mould on the shower + dirty carpet + the window that's could not close + doggy smell in the entrance..... I mean it's just a zero star hotel, let's be honest! I just could not cope so I run away the next day and only did 1 night over the 5 nights I've paid in……
