"Walking distance, 40mins, to city centre. Signage in Car Park said all hotel guests have to sign in and pay immediately. As prepaid guests we shouldn't have paid, lost money to third party company. Room: dead flies, bee, door latch broken, curtain blind no pull cord, closed by hand.Shower poor temperature control and no power"

"Sadly Dolby house didn't have a lift, but the very helpful woman on reception carried my case up to the second floor. Staff we all very friendly and helpful."

"The location is 5 mins walk from the centre, we only stayed for 1 one night so it was convenient however would we stay for another few nights? Maybe not. For a 4* hotel the bed had stains, there's no fridge in the room and there's no coffee machine! Compared to other 4* hotel we stayed at, this one is definitely outdated! Overall for 1 night it's okay as it's conveniently situated but would definitely not stay again as the room we stayed in was quite noisy on the first floor. "

"We didn’t eat or drink here because we were going out the night we were staying. The gym however was really well equipped and included with your stay, the swimming pool however was not included in your stay and you had to pay another £45.00 each to be able to use it, as it is part of their spa. This we didn’t find out with the original booking, only a few days before when we got a welcome email, which was a slight disappointment as mostly included with your stay. Otherwise lovely hotel and the restaurant looked busy so presume food good."
