“Ein perfekter Aufenthalt von Anfang bis Ende! Die Zimmer waren nicht nur sehr schön, sondern auch makellos sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Umgebung lädt zum Entspannen und Erkunden ein, mit vielen Möglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Personal – durchweg freundlich, hilfsbereit und herzlich. Ich habe mich rundum willkommen gefühlt und komme sehr gerne wieder!”

“The room is spacious. Hotel reception puts us in a room far from the pub, which is quiet and comfortable. No air conditioning but I feel ok in June if the windows are open with the fan on. The only improvement is that the room should have a kettle for guests to make hot water. We have to go to the pub and ask for hot water every day, which is not convenient (also I think it may cause inconvenient to the pub owner too)”

“Staff very helpful. The refrigerator in my room wasn't working, the staff come and checked it in minutes, realized it can't be fixed, changed a good one for us right away.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Volkhaus! Two Americans traveling to Switzerland, and we were very pleased with our room, the customer service, and location. Our room was large with plenty of space, but simple and easy. The beds were comfortable as well! We were close to everything we were looking for as well. Highly recommend!”

“Hotel superbe...propre...nickel...belle chambre spacieuse...un personneo au TOP autant côté hôtel que côté restaurant...petit déjeuner à volonté, mais servi à table...un vrai confort...ça change, c'est agréable.... Seul bémol....le train passe a queleues mètres de la chambre....on a l'impression que tout vibre et bruit sourd et tres fréquent, vu le nombre de trains... Bre. ”

“I like a simple, somewhat spartan room. My bed was comfortable and I could recharge my phone and fitbit. Shared bathrooms are not for everybody but they provided a nice robe for trips to and from and the showers were fine. Had fun with the staff at breakfast. ”
