「Didn’t eat there so no opinion on that. Check in is 4, not 3 as listed on booking websites. Property location is gorgeous with stunning views. It is about a mile down a gravel road, very secluded. The room furnishings a bit outdated, but the bed was comfortable enough. Paper thin walls, you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms. Room was clean, bathroom ok, shower gets hot, water pressure so-so, shower doesn’t drain very well. Very conveniently located to Pienza and other towns. Overall...

「La Chiusa is beautiful, staff are very nice and the location fantastic; views from the property and situated next to Montifollonico with access to grocery store, pharmacy and super local restaurant (13 Gobbi). Rooms had a fridge but no kettle, coffee maker or even cups or glasses which was odd and would make a big positive difference so that you can make a hot drink or sip your own wine while enjoying the view! If you’re a foodie you will love the onsite restaurant, but it is a limited menu so...

「I would rate this hotel and its staff ten out of five if there is such a rating! My husband and I stayed three nights and we had a most memorable experience! The grounds of the hotel is beautifully maintained, it is located on a hill overlooking the breath-taking Val d’Orcia.
